What’s changing with the new release?

  • Dog Care now grants rewards. Up to 3 dogs will need your Care at any time, caring for them awards Bones & Stat points that can be used to train your dogs to improve.

  • Three NEW locations to visit. Dogs can now compete in Dallas, San Francisco and Sydney in the World Tour mode.

  • Introducing the World Tour! The current Leagues will be coming to an end, and a journey on the World Tour awaits! Everyone will start the World Tour from the beginning, but you’ll keep all your existing dogs, and their training, as well as any puppies, Bones, Puppy Points and Gems.

  • Two NEW game modes are being added. Tournaments will be incorporated into the World Tour and two new Challenge modes are being added. Compete in these when you are low on Points or Bones to train your dogs or buy things from the Store.

  • A new currency. Challenge Tickets will be needed to play Challenges; these refill over time, more can be purchased and earned via Daily Rewards.

  • Puppies no longer graduate automatically after 3 days. You can now use Puppy Points directly to bond with your puppies. Bond with a puppy 10 times to graduate them into an adult dog at a level equal to your highest trained pup.

  • Breed Points are being converted. We’re replacing Breed Points with Stat Points. All Breed Points you currently own will be converted into Stat Points at a minimum of 1:1, so you aren’t losing any. In fact, all those Breed Points you weren’t using will now be converted into Stat Points that you can use!
    There are 4 types of Stat Point: Speed, Dexterity, Strength and Obedience. These are spent alongside Bones to Level Up dogs of the corresponding type, meaning they can be used on multiple dog breeds. No more receiving points that you don’t want.

  • Dog Grades are presented differently. Your dogs’ current Grades will be converted into Levels, but their Stats and performance remain the same. Dogs can now have a maximum Level of 500.

  • Timed Hampers are being removed. Rewards are now spread out in the World Tour and from engaging with Care. Any Hampers you have in progress will be more than compensated by the Welcome Pack you will receive when you first launch the update, exclusive to our loyal existing players.
    There are still Gifts in the store that can be purchased.

  • Accessory Coins are being removed. Most players weren’t using Accessory Coins, so we’ve decided to exchange them for Gems which everyone uses. Your Accessory Coins will be converted into Gems, and Accessories are still available to purchase from the Store. You’ll also keep all Accessories you already own. 

Where will I get new dogs from without Tournaments?

  • New dogs can be won from the World Tour mode.

  • They will also be available from the Store, both for Gems and for real money.

What will happen to all my Breed Points?

  • Your Breed Points will be converted to Stat Points, you will receive more total Stat points than you had total Breed Points. For example, if you had a large amount of Pug Breed Points, these will be converted into Dexterity Stat points and can be spent on any Dexterity dog. This means if you had lots of Breed Points wasting away because you weren’t training a Fox Terrier, those points will now become Stat Points that you can use to train another dog.

Will I lose my dogs and puppies?

  • No, you’ll keep all your dogs and puppies. Your dogs’ training levels will remain the same, even if the way it’s shown looks a bit different. 

  • Any puppies you had will automatically be set to 9/10 Bonding level, requiring only 100 Puppy Points to graduate.

What about my Accessory Coins?

  • Your Accessory Coins will be converted into Gems. Gems can be spent on Store items, speeding up Puppy Slot cooldowns, and Challenge Tickets.

  • Accessories are still available and can be bought with Gems from the Store.

  • You’ll keep all accessories you’ve already bought.

How will I earn Bones and Puppy Points?

  • Bones, Puppy Points and Stat Points will be awarded from each Event in the World Tour. 

  • Bones and Stat Points can also be earned by caring for your dogs and competing in the new Challenge modes.

Will I need to re-add my friends?

  • No. You’ll keep your Friends List and Breeding Team, and the Social Hub has not been changed.

  • You can still Breed with your friends to get new furs.

Can I still sell unwanted dogs and puppies?

  • You’ll be able to sell dogs for Gems, rather than Bones and Breed Points.

  • We’ve changed the rules for selling dogs so that you can’t sell a dog if you have less than 3 dogs of that Stat specialty, or 2 of the same Breed. This is to prevent players from selling so many dogs that they are unable to progress.

    • In the future we are planning on allowing players to sell more of their dogs to give more ownership over their collection, as more and more Breeds are added to Pocket Paws.

  • You can rehome unwanted puppies, but you won’t receive anything for doing so and the Puppy Slot will go into cooldown if you do so within 12 hours of Breeding it.

Will I get to keep my Gems?

  • Yes, you will keep all your Gems. These can now be spent on more types of Store items.

What will happen to my timed Hampers?

  • Any Hampers that are in progress during the update will disappear. However, you will be compensated for these with a special Welcome Pack, exclusive to loyal existing players.

I bought the Ad Removal Bundle. Will it carry over?

  • Yes. If you’ve purchased Ad Removal, the effects will carry over and you won’t see interstitial Ads.
